This person is not notable. Another person of the same has WP page at J. P. Dutta. Note that the names are the same and only the first two words are abbreviated. Regards, Prof TPMS (talk) 23:37, 25 February 2016 (UTC)
- Withdrawn by nominator""" as per talk page consensus.
- Keep : Jyoti Prakash Dutta or J. P. Dutta is an Indian film producer. This Jyoti Prakash Dutta (writer) is a Bangladeshi short-story writer. He was awarded the most prestiguous Ekushey Padak (highest honor for any Bangladeshi writer) by the Government of Bangladesh. Garnering an Ekushey Padak clearly makes the subject notable per WP:ANYBIO. ~Altaf~ (talk) 23:46, 25 February 2016 (UTC)

- Keep, Ekushey Padak is one of the most notable award in Bangladesh, given by the Govt. Ibrahim Husain Meraj (talk) 13:34, 27 February 2016 (UTC)
- Keep Notable per WP:ANYBIO criterion #1 because of the Ekushey Padak. Not sure how nom's observation about the name is meant to figure into the reason for deletion. Same name, two completely different people. If that wasn't clear, perhaps nom would like to withdraw the nomination so that it can be speedily kept. --Worldbruce (talk) 18:20, 28 February 2016 (UTC)
