Fails WP:NSPORT/GNG. Non-notable basketball player - sources appear to be paid-PR/puff pieces.

- Delete A puff article for a non-notable individual who fails WP:GNG. Played for a minor college last season where he averaged 2.5 points in 8 games.[3] All the sources are paid-PR/puff pieces. I do remember this article from draft where it was repeatedly rejected for exactly these reasons. Alvaldi (talk) 11:56, 7 September 2023 (UTC)
- Delete - per above. Blatant advertising for a non-notable athlete. ‡ El cid, el campeador talk 12:32, 7 September 2023 (UTC)
- Delete per above after looking through the sources. It's feels close to WP:G11 eligible but I'd support a WP:SNOWCLOSE regardless. Skynxnex (talk) 00:04, 8 September 2023 (UTC)
- This is G11 material, really, but since we are here now, delete, per nom. JavaHurricane 11:58, 8 September 2023 (UTC)

- Speedy delete as a PR puff-piece. SportsGuy789 (talk) 05:13, 12 September 2023 (UTC)
- Speedy delete and WP:SALT I draftified this under Jonathan D Ross (draft was CSDed under WP:G11) and this has also been deleted under Jonathan Daniel Ross and Draft:Jonathan Daniel Ross has been speedy deleted 4 different times. The editor who created Jonathan D Ross was also blocked for promotional editing just 4 days before this article was created. Best, GPL93 (talk) 12:13, 12 September 2023 (UTC)
- In light of this back story, shouldn't a CHECKUSER be opened to see what other accounts and IP addresses are potentially pay-to-play under User:Isabel nisa? SportsGuy789 (talk) 18:56, 12 September 2023 (UTC)
- I thought about this, but after looking at edit histories I think that it's more likely that the subject/people close to them are hiring freelancers to publish, which is meatpuppetry but harder to prove. Best, GPL93 (talk) 19:51, 12 September 2023 (UTC)
- Gotcha. I guess we'll whack-a-mole any other similar meatpuppets that pop up. SportsGuy789 (talk) 19:57, 12 September 2023 (UTC)
