I nominated this article because of notability issues. The article is about a man who ran for insurance commissioner of California in 1994 and 2006. In 2006 he received 36% of the vote. I'm not sure this qualifies for wikipedia's biography of living person notability standards. The article cites one reference: a magazine named Capitol Weekly. The link is dead. He is also a grandson of one of the founders of Kraft foods and a graduate of Baylor university. Onefinalstep (talk) 03:23, 13 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- Comment - It looks like the page was created as a political advert during the insurance commissioner race in 2006. Onefinalstep (talk) 03:30, 13 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- Comment - I, being the creator of the article, assert that it was not an advert. My extensive contributions to Wikipedia hopefully attest to my truthfulness here. I don't think I even voted for the candidate, although that was several year ago, so can't be certain. WilliamKF (talk) 17:18, 15 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- Comment - Fixed the dead link in the article. WilliamKF (talk) 17:24, 15 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

- Delete - Unsuccessful political candidate, never held any elected office. No coverage found about anything except his two runs for insurance commissioner. "Just being an elected local official, or an unelected candidate for political office, does not guarantee notability, although such people can still be notable if they meet the primary notability criterion of "significant coverage in reliable sources that are independent of the subject of the article." --MelanieN (talk) 22:09, 14 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- Oppose - I feel the page contains useful information and see no harm in keeping it. WilliamKF (talk) 17:18, 15 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- This is a better link for the Capitol Weekly piece. On thing I found that confuses me a bit: according to a Boston Magazine blurb on the Kraft family,
If this is the same guy, focusing on two failed primary campaigns for state office seems to be missing the point. I'm not sure it is the exact same person...more sources are probably needed to figure this out. — Scientizzle 17:27, 20 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]Son Jonathan has become familiar to game-day viewers as vice chairman of the Patriots, with broad responsibilities for strategic planning, and as operator of the Revolution soccer team and the $325 million Gillette Stadium. He's also president and COO of the Kraft Group, the holding company for the family's business, and sits on the board of the tony Belmont Hill School.
