Though the article technically passes WP:NSPORT, Christiaens has only three qualifying appearances over five years ago, and the article fails WP:GNG comprehensively enough to fall under the section the lede of WP:NSPORT which says: [T]he meeting of any of these criteria does not mean that an article must be kept. Keep Passes WP:NFOOTBALL and has played in a WP:FPL ,the subject is only 27 years and is currently playing for AS Verbroedering Geel in the Belgian Second Division which is one division below Belgian Pro League which is a WP:FPL and is still left with a lot of his playing career as he already meets WP:NFOOTBALL,see no little point in deleting it.Pharaoh of the Wizards (talk) 10:53, 1 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Keep - this is not some 18 year old who made one appearance, got injured, and retired. This is a player who made a few appearances in the top league a few years ago, meeting WP:NFOOTBALL, and who has continued a decent career at a lower level. A quick search indicates there are numerous sources out there, meaning GNG is probably also met. Needs improving, not deleting. Giant Snowman 18:20, 1 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Keep - Passes NFOOTY, has played in a fully professional league or in a match in the competition proper (i.e. not qualifying rounds) of a cup competition which involved two teams both from FPLs. Consensus that simply passing NFOOTY is not enough when a player fades to lower divisions is not relevant here. the player has continued to have a lengthy career at the next level down and sources above indicate wider GNG.
