The result was Move to an article about the event and not the person. Will move the article to Murder of João Hélio Fernandes Vieites for now until/unless a different title is decided upon. Davewild (talk) 18:36, 25 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

As I understand it, it is customary not to include biographical articles for people who may be notable for being involved in a single event. In this case, the only claim to notability the subject has is the event of his death. The article itself cannot hope to be more than an article describing the events surrounding his death, as there is no biographical information worthy of inclusion. - Weak delete/Re-direct-per WP:BIO1E, it should be deleted, however, if this event caused such an arising, it should be redirected somewhere else, per WP:BIO#Failing basic criteria but meeting additional criteria.--SRX--LatinoHeat 20:54, 17 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
- Redirect to an article on the event (if the event itself meets notability criteria). Jasynnash2 (talk) 10:22, 18 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
- Rewriting this as an article about the event (seems there isn't currently one) would probably be the best course of action. giggy (:O) 10:11, 25 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
