Article is written like an advertisement, fails WP:ARTIST. It should be noted that this article has been proposed for deletion and nominated for speedy deletion previously - the concern these editors appeared to have is the (fairly credible, in my personal opinion) allegations of plagiarism against him that aren't (and can't be) mentioned in the article due to their not being published in reliable sources, although these editors never made this clear. Comment Looking at the existing references, the vast majority are offline. The list of Selected achievements and events in the article is a mess and needs a complete overhaul. Looking through the sources online, coverage is about the documentaries that he is the subject of: The Dark and The Wounded (2018) and James Picard: Off the Canvas (2003) also the exhibition "State of the Art Exhibition". The sources and PR refer to him as the award-winning work of Canadian artist James Picard and renowned. I cannot find anything that supports this. I am really flummoxed by this. Yeah, I am too. I wasn't able to find any access to any of the offline sources anywhere, or even verify that the articles themselves exist. It seems the entire article was written by a WP:SPA back in 2010 - the combination of unverifiable (by me at least) claims, the account creating the page, and the allegations of plagiarism is bizarre. It looks like the entire 44 minute documentary James Picard: Off the Canvas is available on Youtube. The video was created/posted by Trifectamedia, which is a marketing firm. Delete After reading through the references available, I believe that most of the information is promotional, either self-published or native advertising. The subject definitely fails WP:ARTIST, and also fails WP:ANYBIO. I do not find the claims of harassment/threats credible. In that assertion, the subject holds up a threatening notes that he has claimed to received. Additionally, none of the films or exhibitions mentioned in the article rise to the level of notable.
