Islamic State of Qadian[edit]

Islamic State of Qadian (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views) – (View log · State of Qadian Stats)
(Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs· FENS · JSTOR · TWL)

There's not a single neutral scholarly source to confirm this "state" ever actually existed. The bibliography of the page has gathered only one source since 2012, and even that source isn't reliable.cӨde1+6 LogicBomb! 19:58, 19 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete I couldn't find anything either and doubt very much if such a State ever existed. RookTaker (talk) 21:00, 19 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete as I'm not seeing much better. SwisterTwister talk 01:44, 25 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete: at best the article describes an area of jurisdiction, since a qadi is basically a judge. A Qadian state as a sovereign political entity seems like a hoax to me. This French orientalist text from 1928 mentions son chef [de la famille] d'alors, Mirza Hadi Beg, avait fondé Qadian, centre d'une agglomération de 70 villages dont il était le cadi [qadi] (its chief then, Mirza Hadi Beg, had founded Qadian, center of an agglomeration of 70 villages of which he was the qadi). - HyperGaruda (talk) 18:19, 26 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
