The result was keep. Overall consensus is for the article to be retained. I have added the {{Cleanup AfD}} template to the article. North America1000 21:41, 27 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Very many refs for what appears to be a bit part actor. Many of the refs referer only to the film that she has acted in as a minor player. Refs that mention her by name all appear to be blogs or IMDB like sites. Wading through the morass of references, I could find nothing notable. The author persistenly removes notability tags which have been present for a while in the hope of elciting some evidence of notability. None has been forthcoming. Reads like a puff piece in anticipation of the Golden Globes later this month. Fails WP:GNG.  Velella  Velella Talk   09:31, 13 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

  • There's evidence in articles such as The New York Times that mention her directly and her performance in the Academy Award Nominated for Best Foreign Film in 2017 "Toni Erdmann". What seems to be the problem? There's multiple sources quoted for anything written about her. I'm willing to add anything to it that you guys might find necessary and make any adjustments that you see fit as long as I'm told what these are specifically. Also, there's a lot of actors pages that need to be deleted for their lack of data and importance in the movie, before we ever reach her. Thank you! • Also, the Golden Globes already happened on January 8th. FactCheckker1515 (talk) 10:15, 14 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete This is heavily a case of trying to coat rack the films success onto her. We need multiple films, and only one is really identified. Multiple significant roles in notable films can not be achieved by one significant role in one notable film.John Pack Lambert (talk) 04:23, 15 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • Actually the article speaks of numerous other films such as "Outbound" where she has a supporting role, "The Portrait of the Fighter as a Young Man", both multiple nominated and award winning films, as well as "The Dark Prince" starring Jon Voight, again with her in a supporting role. Not to mention her morning show "Cafeaua de dimineata" on Romanian National television.
  • Is Wikipedia dedicated only to actors that have had leading roles? Maybe I'm missing something. FactCheckker1515 (talk) 04:52, 15 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

  • Keep. Passes WP:ENT. Copyedits have been made for a bit of the puffery. Article could use further cleanup and expansion, not deletion per WP:ATD. Hmlarson (talk) 05:23, 18 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

  • Keep needs some serious clean-up, but definitely meets notability guidelines. TheWarOfArt (talk) 00:32, 23 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep. Toni Erdmann is one of the best known films of 2016. While she was not the star of the film, her role was not minor. We have tons of articles about people who played smaller roles as Harry Potter's schoolmates in far less artistically ambitious films. --Bjerrebæk (talk) 04:21, 27 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
