Not notable according to Wikipedia:WikiProject Figure Skating/Notability. No competitive bio at isuresults.com Hergilei (talk) 13:22, 16 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I was not aware there were detailed criteria for notability for figure skaters. I considered this question prior to writing the article. My reference case was Marin Honda whom I also note you [[1]] have marked for deletion on grounds of notability. I note the only "non-criteria" for notability is that Harris has been successful at at advanced novice level, below the threshold junior level. (Having a competitive bio at isuresults.com is not a criteria for notability.) I am happy to accept the article be deleted on grounds of notability provided the policy is applied consistently.
By the way there needs to be an article on the levels in figure skating, particularly the differences between (advanced) novice, junior and senior, noting the qualification ages (eg 10-15 for ISU novice on 1 July prior to competition) and the variation between the ISU and individual countries. Advanced novice, junior and senior are important as they are recorded in many competition pages, unlike basic novice. This one is inadequate. I don't have sufficient expertise to write this article, but see [1] for the ISU advanced novice criteria.
Postscipt. Marin Honda has achieved a Junior ISU record since the entries above.Galerita (talk) 00:49, 28 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete this unsourced biography of a living person unless reliable sources can be added to substantiate the content. I appreciate this was a good faith attempt to create an article, but writing biographies of living people without the benefit of third-party sourcing just opens the article to abuse and defamation. • Delete, Comment I accept the criteria for deletion based on Wikipedia:WikiProject Figure Skating/Notability, but the article was sourced from the competition website, so I don't understand your objection on WP:BLP grounds. Galerita (talk) 00:49, 28 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
