Not seeing anything that would satisfy WP:BIO as a district judge and unsuccessful local politician. Clarityfiend (talk) 22:57, 9 May 2015 (UTC)

- Keep and improve. Satisfies GNG, due to coverage in the sources cited in the article, in GBooks and elsewhere, of which there are quite a lot. In my honest opinion the coverage available, and his positions as district judge, chairman of the board of governors of Alberta College, and senator of the University of Alberta, amongst others, add up to notability for someone who died in 1931. Comments such as "Few men of Edmonton are more widely known throughout the Province and the Northwest than Hedley Clarence Taylor, Judge of the District Court of the District of Edmonton of the Province of Alberta", in his own dedicated article in a general history of the Alberta province, do tend to suggest notability. There is potential for enormous expansion here. James500 (talk) 04:32, 13 May 2015 (UTC)

- Keep per User:James500. There are definitely more sources on him to be found and to expand off of. Haven't even checked newspaper sources yet, but he was one of the more notable names in Alberta at the time, going from my research. There's a good chance that there's extensive coverage on him in the Edmonton papers (there were two major ones at the time) as well. I might try and get back to it when I get the time... this was one of my earlier article creations. Connormah (talk) 20:32, 22 May 2015 (UTC)
