Healing factor[edit]

Wikipedia is not TVTropes, and this article is entirely WP:OR, except for the list entries which are primary sources. This superpower doesn't really merit much more than what is stated in List of superpowers. Additionally, the title could be confused for real-life healing factor in biology/medicine. • Delete - The article, as presented, is basically just a list of superheroes who have a "healing factor". On the one hand, the size of the list probably could justify the existence of an article for "healing factor" as a standalone concept. On the other hand, the article itself does nothing to justify its own existence. What it really needs is a complete re-write, but since I have no interest in doing it, I'm gonna say delete. — Preceding unsigned comment added by ThatGuamGuy (talkcontribs)

  • Delete per nom I was expecting some scientific formula or ratio connected to perhaps a particular role-playing game or something like regeneration rate, but there is no such thing. There are real-life factors of healing [1] but this doesn't seem to address any of that. Perhaps retargeting to Regeneration would work [2] but regeneration is slightly different from healing. • Delete- This is an extremely crufty list; it looks like a TVTropes entry with a superficial attempt at making it look properly sourced. Even assuming, arguendo, that a proper encyclopedia article on this topic can be written, it's clear that none of this content would ever end up there. Reyk YO! 09:20, 22 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete - This looks like something I might find on Wikia. - Knowledgekid87 (talk) 13:54, 22 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • comment - since this is obviously a List of fictional characters with a healing factor, maybe a move would be a better option than deleting? Argento Surfer (talk) 17:48, 22 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
    • It would be fancruft whether it was moved or not. We don't need lists of superheroes that have every superpower - that is a job for Marvel or DC Wikia. They will not be of importance to the average Wikipedia reader, only a comic book fan - that's how you know that it is cruft.ZXCVBNM (TALK) 20:26, 22 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
