- Delete. Filmmakers do not automatically qualify for Wikipedia articles just because their work can technically be metaverified by its own presence on YouTube or Vimeo, or because it has IMDb pages — a filmmaker gets over the CREATIVE bar when his films have resulted in reliable source media outlets doing journalism, such as film reviews and/or profiles of him as a person, about him and his work. Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, not a free PR platform — the presence or absence of media coverage about him tells us whether he gets in here yet or not, not his own desire to be in here for the publicity.
