I'm not able to find any significant coverage to suggest notability. Topic is unlikely to pass WP:NSPORT. ––FormalDude (talk) 07:41, 3 March 2023 (UTC)

Comment. Passes NCOLLATH as someone who hasHave won multiple NCAA Division I national championships as an individual in an individual sport.

- I feel like there has to be more coverage on someone who was runner-up in the NCAA national championship and set a high school national record, but unfortunately that was all I could find. BeanieFan11 (talk) 15:56, 3 March 2023 (UTC)

- Keep. I cannot name a single discus thrower and I do not believe most people can either. Would I if it was featured as much on TV during primetime like College Football is? Probably. Coming in 2nd and 3rd place nationally in your sport indicates notability. KatoKungLee (talk) 16:59, 4 March 2023 (UTC)
- According to WP:NOLYMPICS you need to have won a medal for notability to be assumed. ––FormalDude (talk) 02:12, 6 March 2023 (UTC)
- Delete,
no SIGCOVonly one piece of local maybe-SIGCOV has been found despite searches. JoelleJay (talk) 00:45, 7 March 2023 (UTC)
- I'd say the piece from The Indianapolis Star is likely SIGCOV. BeanieFan11 (talk) 02:49, 7 March 2023 (UTC)
- Yeah, it's ok but I give considerably less weight to quote-heavy articles where much of the non-quote bits are still not independent secondary analysis (e.g. reporting what Hart "felt" or summarizing what he said in a quote prior to giving the quote), especially when it's local-interest media. - Delete not enough WP:SIGCOV to establish notability. The Indianapolis Star piece is a start but that alone doesn't get it across the finish line for GNG. Please ping me if more coverage is found. Frank Anchor 20:26, 7 March 2023 (UTC)
