Non-notable primary school with no importance asserted. Prod was removed without comment. Majorly talk 22:39, 26 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Keep Seems to have been nominated in a deletion spree made without due diligence. Improvement of the article to cite sources which assert notability proves easy when one makes the effort. Colonel Warden (talk) 22:59, 26 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Neither of the sources assert any actual notability. One is about a "Golden Shoe" prize, and the other briefly mentions the school among others. Both are reports by the local newspaper. This is hardly significant coverage to suggest notability. Majorly talk 23:06, 26 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- It's enough to show that the article is not a hopeless case and so your nominations have been too hasty. Our deletion policy makes it clear that articles should not be nominated without making some effort to engage with the topic. There doesn't seem to be the slightest case for deletion here as, at the very least, we can consolidate this material into a larger article about the region's schools. Colonel Warden (talk) 23:19, 26 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- I disagree, two insignificant mentions in the local newspaper shows no notability. The fact that this school isn't discussed significantly in reliable third party sources is a very good reason for deletion. Perhaps not to you, but as I said, we disagree. There's nothing of any importance in this article that's worth merging anywhere else. If I had thought merging was suitable, I'd have suggested it. Majorly talk 23:31, 26 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Comment Colonel Warden's keep !vote is lacking a valid rationale, not to mention assuming bad faith. Jeni (talk) 01:52, 27 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

- Delete the sources don't establish any reasonable notability, and I can't find that much myself. Jeni (talk) 01:36, 27 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Merge/redirect to List of schools in Bury per precedent. This is a valid search term. Cunard (talk) 02:00, 27 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Merge/redirect to List of schools in Bury per precedent. WP:Before requires consideration of a merge before deletion. TerriersFan (talk) 03:32, 27 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Redirect Per lack of substantial independent coverage in reliable sources. Local paper reporting on test results is not enough. ChildofMidnight (talk) 06:18, 27 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Redirect as above. Blue Square Thing (talk) 13:37, 27 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Merge as not notable. The award that the school won (Golden Shoe) might be notable enough for its own article, although I can't tell from the context whether this is a singular award, or one that goes to many schools. Mandsford (talk) 16:14, 27 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Delete No notability stated. A couple of regurgitated press-releases in the local rag don't establish any real notability. Pit-yacker (talk) 17:58, 27 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Merge/redirect to List of schools in Bury until there are sufficient reliable sources for an independent V, NPOV, NOR article. DoubleBlue (talk) 09:16, 28 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Merge as above. Consensus is that primary schools are generally NN. Peterkingiron (talk) 16:48, 29 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Merge/redirect as above. Lack of notability is a reason to deny an institution its own page but not a reason not to merge or redirect. We routinely merge non-notable subjects into broader, more notable, articles and the redirect helps readers find the material. Bridgeplayer (talk) 21:07, 29 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
