An unused tank, a corral or two, and a house-ish building are the only things that show up for this place over decades. I can't find any info on the place but all evidence is that it was/is a ranch, not a town. Mangoe (talk) 01:50, 1 February 2023 (UTC)

- Comment: 90 percent sure it's this archaeological site? https://uapress.arizona.edu/book/grasshopper-pueblo I think? I have to go into a meeting soon but will try to correlate coordinates when I get out. jengod (talk) 02:39, 1 February 2023 (UTC)
- Comment: GNIS alone cannot be used to prove that a place is actually populated. The only thing I could find is this article, but it's unclear if they're referring to this place or a different place. ThadeusOfNazereth(he/him)Talk to Me! 02:42, 1 February 2023 (UTC)
- I don't think it's been a populated place since the 14th century. It can be deleted as a populated place but from what I can tell Grasshopper Ruin was the site of University of Arizona Archaeological Field School for several decades. There's probably an article to made about historic Grasshopper Pueblo but it's not a town per se.

- OK FWIW Draft:Grasshopper Pueblo is still just a start but it has 9 solid sources and it covers the history of the ruin and some of the archaeological work done there. Cheers jengod (talk) 06:39, 1 February 2023 (UTC)
- Redirect to Grasshopper Pueblo; I salvaged the coordinates and the elevation out of GNIS. jengod (talk) 20:57, 1 February 2023 (UTC)
