The problem with writing up an article on award is that you have to find sources that discuss the award itself, not just listing people who have received it. The references here consist of lists of recipients-- I was not able to find in depth independent reliable sources that talk about the award proper (sources like this one lack independence). Without these, we can't host an article on this award. (As an aside, I've sometimes thought we aught to have a subject-specific notability guideline for awards because this issue seems to come up fairly frequently-- thoughts, anyone?). - @A loose necktie:, yes, we do need guidelines on awards. The problem is that awards get used to support the notability of their recipients, so if we get an award wrong, we flood WP with self-promoting "celebrities" who haven't done anything except pay for their awards. There are too many awards that are actually businesses, selling seats at award ceremonies, and permitting anyone to get nominated. We need to differentiate between three categories: (1) genuine, meaningful awards, such as the Oscars; they need articles, and lend notability; (2) totally meaningless and non-notable awards, routine-businesses that make money out of allowing people to preen themselves in front of a mirror; these need no article and lend no notability; (3) awards that would be in category 2 except that they've managed to attract publicity, and therefore deserve an article, but do not lend notability to their recipients. I would like to see a list of meaningful awards, analogous to the perennial sources. Elemimele (talk) 09:46, 9 August 2022 (UTC)

- Keep when I first read the nominator's argument, I assumed citations are from articles about people that won them, but this not the case. All articles are about the awards and besides name of the winners, the articles also contain more info about the awards. I think these citations are enough to meet WP:GNG.Lovewiki106 (talk) 02:21, 23 August 2022 (UTC)

Relisting comment: Relisting. I'm not optimistic about the coverage which mainly is lists of people who have won the award.
