Fragile (2006 film)[edit]
- Fragile (2006 film) (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views) (delete) – (View log)
Non-notable first film by a non-notable and just deleted at AfD filmmaker. Article substantially edited by the now username-blocked production company. There is nothing under Frederic Lean (current name) and the past name shows existence, not notability. With regard to the dubious Cannes-related claim to notability what it actually was is "Fragile" was part of the official selection at the "SHORT FILM CORNER"- CANNES FILM FESTIVAL 2006. per the production company's website and no other reliable sources. - No sources found, but Cannes Award suggests notability --T-rex 16:43, 23 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
- Comment this is true... if the film actually won such an award. I have so far failed to find any reliable source that actually mentions this film in connection with Cannes. -- JediLofty UserTalk 08:34, 24 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
- Comment same here, it appears to have been discussed at Cannes but not even the production company's website goes so far as to say it actually won any award. It appears to be a case of name dropping in hope to establish notability. TravellingCarithe Busy Bee 12:31, 24 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

- Comment - If there is no Cannes award, then it is not notable. This article came from WP:AFC. Graeme Bartlett (talk) 21:35, 23 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

- Comment I checked IMDB and Cannes Short Film Corner. The film was in the "official selection of the short film corner". It doesn't mean they won an award. Fragile was selected in the official selection in that category. Even the company expressed it in those terms. They never claimed they won an award for Fragile at Cannes-just officially selected in the Short Film Corner competition . —Preceding unsigned comment added by 17.255.240.2 (talk) 18:52, 24 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
