Redundant to Worldbuilding and not a phrase used by anybody that I can find. Clarityfiend (talk) 03:50, 5 October 2023 (UTC)
Delete, or redirect to Fantasy cartography. All the info in Fictional geography should be (and most or all already is) in Worldbuilding and/or Fantasy cartography. Mark in wiki (talk) 06:29, 5 October 2023 (UTC)- Redirect to Fantasy cartography, per Mark in wiki. ▶ I am Grorp ◀ 09:28, 5 October 2023 (UTC)

- Redirect or disambiguate. Perhaps disambugate (what we have is a poor stub). But in addition to topics mentioned above, there may also be something real here - sadly, I cannot access this quickly, but it suggests another dimension ("fictional geography in ancient historiography"). PS. This seems already covered under Fantasy_cartography#History so redirect seems fine. --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 13:12, 5 October 2023 (UTC)

- Redirect to Worldbuilding. The term (purportedly) applies to all fiction, and not just fantasy. ‡ El cid, el campeador talk 14:54, 5 October 2023 (UTC)
- Redirect, I guess to Worldbuilding#Geography in accordance with El cid, el campeador. "not a phrase used by anybody that I can find" Huh? There are a great many hits in the usual Google, Google Books, and Google Scholar searches! So based on sources like Subcreation: Fictional-World Construction from J.R.R. Tolkien to Terry Pratchett and Tad Williams this topic clearly is notable. And a likely search term. It's just that the current article is not good and the other two suggested articles already cover the same ground, therefore my redirect opion. Please don't neglect the required WP:BEFORE search. No objection to disambiguate in case the other dimension of the term is covered somewhere. Daranios (talk) 15:23, 5 October 2023 (UTC)
- Delete as lacking sufficient discussion in sources. I do see some related ideas in better-written articles, and a redirect might be appropriate. But the meaning of this is ambiguous and may be better as an ordinary search. Shooterwalker (talk) 23:52, 5 October 2023 (UTC)
- Redirect to Worldbuilding#Geography. This is the best target option. BD2412 T 01:28, 12 October 2023 (UTC)
Relisted to generate a more thorough discussion and clearer consensus.
Relisting comment: Relisting as there are two equally supported Redirect target articles.

- I now believe Redirect to Worldbuilding#Geography is the best option, having been convinced by El cid, el campeador's comment. (This is my first contribution to AfD, so hopefully this is the correct way to add my changed opinion.) Mark in wiki (talk) 06:49, 12 October 2023 (UTC)

- You should have
- Redirect to Worldbuilding#Geography as a plausible search term, but it's no more than that. Chiswick Chap (talk) 16:34, 12 October 2023 (UTC)
