Created on 2nd October 2003, I am surprised this article hasn't already been nominated for deletion. Anyway, the article itself seems in violation of original research, through not only the tone of the content, but also the lack of citing of reliable sources. Some quotes from the article, that led to this nomination, are: "situated on 27 acres of spectacular Big Sur coastline" and "..Esalen is dedicated to exploring work in the humanities and sciences that furthers the full realization of what Aldous Huxley called the “human potential”." - Keep The institute certainly seems notable as per requirements of WP:ORG. There is also a book written on this institute. However, the article does need to be cleaned up to solve WP:NPOV issues. -- ¿Amar៛Talk to me/My edits 17:23, 14 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

- Speedy keep; obviously notable institution with many possible reliable sources that could be cited. Article needs cleanup, but that's no reason to delete it. SparsityProblem 19:11, 14 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
