Edwin Pepping was an enlisted man and medic in the U.S. Army during World War II. For a time, he was assigned to E Company, 506th Infantry Regiment (United States) during the Normandy invasion. He suffered a concussion and leg wound, was hospitalized for a while, returned to the company, was hospitalized again, and was assigned to communication duties. Post-War, he held a variety of jobs, including draftsman on the Apollo Project.
