- Keep - it took some searching (common name) but it seems he was a big deal in the '70s electronic music scene. According to this profile/video interview here, he invented the first computerized sound file or whatever you call it. (It isn't a secondary source, but as a national organization related to the music industry it has some credibility.) There's a solid article here at theverge.com, local newspaper profile here and also of note is this glowing mention in this book about synthesizers (not self-published, from Oxford University Press).
