A discussion needs to be had on notability given the overall lack of substantial sources and the flash in a pan nature of the viral music video. FiddleheadLady (talk) 19:33, 24 May 2021 (UTC)

- Keep - In addition to what's already in the article from the Courier News, he's covered in "Patriotism hits high note in 'Net video", an in-depth article about him in the May 4, 2005, issue of the Honolulu Star-Bulletin and he and his song were covered in 2006 by both The Des Moines Register and the Oshkosh Northwestern. Given that his stunt career and songwriter are legitimate claims of notability, all of which is supported by persistent coverage in reliable and verifiable sources about him published years after his song was released, it would appear that the notability standard is met. - As cited above, here are just some sources about Madalone:
- "TV stuntman does bang-up job", Red Deer Advocate, March 18, 1982
- "A hero's hero: A stuntman who flies and falls", San Francisco Examiner, March 27, 1982
- "Central Jersey stuntman turns into singer-song-writer after Sept. 11" Courier News, April 17, 2002
- "Patriotism hits high note in 'Net video", Honolulu Star-Bulletin, May 4, 2005

- These are just a few of the sources about him and his work as a stuntman and as a songwriter, published in reliable and verifiable sources over a span of decades, both before and after his song was written. The claim that he was a "flash in a pan" would appear to be inconsistent with two decades of press coverage. Alansohn (talk) 19:35, 28 May 2021 (UTC)
