Deepti Malik

This is one of three versions of an unreferenced biography of a living person that do not explain why the subject satisfies musical notability or general notability. They could be tagged for BLPPROD, or for A7, but a claim of significance seems to have been made, so we might as well go to AFD. Robert McClenon (talk) 03:56, 22 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

The other two versions are:

  • Singer.deeptimalik (edit | talk | history | links | watch | logs)
  • Singer Deepti Malik (edit | talk | history | links | watch | logs)

  • Speedy delete: this is textbook WP:CSD. For reference, the entire content of the article is: "Deepti Malik is mumbai based indian hindi classical singer. She has guiness world record book awardee for singing performance. She also sings in Bollywood hindi, punjabi & haryanvi music industry. Deepti Malik is from kharar muzzfarngr (up) and stay in city of dream Mumbai. She nominated in Guinness World Records holder for her participation in mega music event in December 2019. The organised in Mumbai." jp×g 04:11, 22 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
  • Comment to User:JPxG - Yes. The claim of a Guinness Book of World Records entry might clear the low bar of credible claim of significance, but it fails verifiability and notability. Robert McClenon (talk) 04:25, 22 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@Robert McClenon: It says "participation in mega music event in December 2019", implying that it was a collective record (like the largest number of performers in an event, or the like). Searching the Guinness website, the only musical record mentioning Mumbai in December 2019 is [1], which is the "longest karaoke marathon by multiple participants" (with Virag Madhumalati being listed as the recipient). There is no mention of Deepti Malik, which indicates that they were one of many participants. jp×g 04:31, 22 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
User:JPxG - Then the article, as written, is making a false claim, which is being verified to be a false claim in the process of this deletion discussion. The author is blowing smoke and waving their hands. I would !vote Delete except that I have already !voted by nominating. I thought of tagging the three turds stubs as A7 and didn't. Another editor can still tag it. Robert McClenon (talk) 05:16, 22 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
