Prodded by User:Staszek Lem, deprodded by creator. The coverage (references, external links, etc.) does not seem sufficient to justify this article passing Wikipedia:General notability guideline and the more detailed Wikipedia:Notability (biographies)/WP:CREATIVE requirements. I don't see any good sources - does not seem encyclopedic. Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 08:48, 16 November 2015 (UTC)
- Keep I've done a quick job just now trying to improve the article: I found several citations and various details. He's got an extensive CV, been nominated for an award, looks to me like enough. Bondegezou (talk) 15:23, 16 November 2015 (UTC)
- PS: I note there is already an article about his 2008 play: Girl with a Pearl Earring (play). Bondegezou (talk) 15:26, 16 November 2015 (UTC)
- So what? There is plenty nonnotable (and hence unnoticed) garbage in wikipedia. I guess this one is very much up to deletion as well. Staszek Lem (talk) 19:04, 16 November 2015 (UTC)
- Even assuming the play is notable, notability is not inherited (WP:INHERIT). --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 01:29, 17 November 2015 (UTC)
- I was not claiming inheritance. I thought that editors wishing to work on the David Joss Buckley article might find the Girl with a Pearl Earring (play) article useful in terms of content and citations. Bondegezou (talk) 09:45, 17 November 2015 (UTC)

- delete The added references say close to nothing about Buckley. They are just "business as usual" reviews of his mediorce plays. Staszek Lem (talk) 19:11, 16 November 2015 (UTC)
- Weak Keep Looking at sources yes they contain minor references, but i do feel there is enough in the article and in other sources available to scrape GNG.Blethering Scot 13:10, 21 November 2015 (UTC)

- Draft and userfy for now so delete as although I found some links at Books, News, browsers and Highbeam, I'll admit this could be keepable but we'll simply wait for better coverage for better comfort. SwisterTwister talk 05:09, 25 November 2015 (UTC)
