Does not meet WP:GNG. Searching online, there's a lot of routine promotional and/or trivial theatre coverage (e.g. [1], [2]), but nothing substantial. Does not meet WP:NACTOR, appears to have had minor roles on TV and leading roles in spinoff musical theatre productions. signed, Rosguill talk 22:11, 26 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Keep. In addition to appearing as a major character, Luke, in 56 episodes of the Sky 1 series Stella and in other TV roles, he has had major roles in long runs in two West End theatre productions: Dewey, the central character in Andrew Lloyd Webber's School of Rock, and Olaf, a major supporting character, in the Disney musical Frozen. He is definitely notable, but the article needs to cite more sources. -- Ssilvers (talk) 04:17, 27 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

His credits are not for the original productions of those theatre productions, which significantly undercuts the claim to notability on that basis. In the absence of any significant, independent biographical coverage of the subject I don't think that cuts it. signed, Rosguill talk 15:54, 27 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
He originated the role Olaf in the original West End cast of Frozen, and he played Dewey at more performances than anyone else in the West End production of School of Rock. -- Ssilvers (talk) 20:42, 3 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Is there anything other than PR and interviews covering his performances? signed, Rosguill talk 20:53, 3 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

  • Keep. Several articles in The Stage about his performances and his career, plus the following references I've pulled from a news database:
    • "Frozen The Musical review: A magical, heart-warming adaptation". 17 Nov 2023. Dily Express
    • "Frozen, The Musical: a West End spectacle of the most magical kind". 16 Nov 2023. Daily Telegraph
    • "Frozen the Musical announces new dates and tickets for West End run". 11 Sep 2023. Pink News
    • "Andrew Lloyd Webber Reveals King Charles "Shed A Tear" And Had "Goosebumps" When He First Heard The 'Coronation Anthem'
    • BBC 2 Radio - 1:48 PM GMT
    • "Musical Con theatre fan convention in London".12 Oct 2022.
    • "The cold never bothered them anyway: how Frozen made musical magic". 20 Sep 2022 The Guardian
There are over 200 references to him in national and local media, including several that call his performance in Frozen "iconic". Going by the news media alone, I'd say he passes NACTOR. - SchroCat (talk) 08:35, 4 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep. Passes criteria one of WP:NACTOR. On a side note, one does not have to “originate” a stage role to meet the notability criteria of performing in a notable stage production. If that were the case we would have to discount many well known actors who make a living performing in historic plays such as the members of the Royal Shakespeare Company. That’s adding an extra hoop which doesn’t exist in the notability policy language for actors. I would consider anyone appearing in multiple lead roles at West End theatres meeting criteria 1 of NACTOR providing that the performances have been the subject of independent secondary coverage in reliable sources. In this case we have lots of press coverage in the form of critical reviews of this actor’s stage performances in addition to his work starring in a television series with a significant run of six seasons.4meter4 (talk) 21:33, 4 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
