Per WP:BLP1E. The only media coverage of the subject pertains to his prison sentence for involvement in a bomb plot. Lizard (talk) 21:46, 14 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete While some people can be notable for convinction of bombing plots, there is not the widespread coverage to move this beyond the rules of not news.John Pack Lambert (talk) 21:48, 14 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, I forgot to mention the conviction's insignificance. Lizard (talk) 21:53, 14 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • Nom does not appear to have performed WP:BEFORE searches; I had no trouble locating subject in books and major media. Sources abound, from the year of his arrest through a 2017 book.E.M.Gregory (talk) 10:42, 4 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

  • Keep and WP:TROUT Nom for failing to perform the most cursory WP:BEFORE. Here's the NY Times article on the indictment [1]. Reuters on the guilty plea [2]. gBook hits on "Christopher Paul" + "al qaeda" [3] Sheesh.E.M.Gregory (talk) 17:35, 16 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

  • Note that I added a few sources, including a university press book with an entire chapter on Paul (Chapter 5). It provides a detailed biography form which a better article can be written.E.M.Gregory (talk) 10:50, 23 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

  • a very modest WP:HEYMANN, I did a very modest upgrade, adding sources about his life and career. Note that sources including including a new book out from Brookings this spring satisfies WP:PERSISTENCE and sources including a book by Larry Elder criticizing Paul Law's poor life choices carry it past WP:GNG. Also Note that "Christopher Paul" is only one of the names he uses, his birth name and faith names produce other sources from which a good article could be created.E.M.Gregory (talk) 10:39, 4 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep - per E.M Gregorys reasonings. and WP:GNG.BabbaQ (talk) 22:10, 8 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
