The article creator and subject are the same, and the article is below the threshold of notability for an academic Drthorgithecorgi (talk) 18:41, 6 September 2023 (UTC)

- Comment. Citation profile [1] looks very healthy to me. Why do you believe that the subject fails to meet WP:PROF? Espresso Addict (talk) 02:26, 7 September 2023 (UTC)
- Healthy, but not exceptional in the Wikipedia:Notability (academics) sense. Drthorgithecorgi (talk) 15:00, 7 September 2023 (UTC)
- strong Keep with an h-index of 66 and 8 publications with 1000+ citations this is very clear case of passing WP:NPROF#1. The article may need some cleanup due to COI. --hroest 15:26, 7 September 2023 (UTC)
- Keep. Heavy citations but neuroscience is a field where that is common. More convincing is WP:PROF#C3 through his membership in Academia Europaea [2]. —David Eppstein (talk) 22:02, 9 September 2023 (UTC)
- That's a fair point. Agreed, a good membership to note. I'll remove. Drthorgithecorgi (talk) 22:41, 11 September 2023 (UTC)
- Keep. High citation count and pretty solid in the awards category. However, I really don't like the COI from the author. Mason (talk) 02:16, 10 September 2023 (UTC)
