  • I'd say this one was a bit bigger than a routine event, at least for Southeast Missouri State Uni; I'd say merge is quite sensible, as it's clearly a big event in the uni's history, and the current article is as much about Mr Merick as Mrs Merick; even the details of their early life could easily sit in the Uni's article as the Uni and the Mericks share an origin in school-teaching.
