Not notable in his own right. He is a courtesy marquess but there is no certainty that he will become a Duke and we should cross that bridge when we come to it. For now he is not notable (other than for who his father is) and I don't believe he passes WP:GNG. Uhooep (talk) 11:10, 24 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

  • Keep. There are multiple references about him, so he passes GNG. Even if being listed in the British Who's Who does not automatically confer notability, it is a strong indication that references that prove notability can be found. Eastmain (talk • contribs) 04:14, 2 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete. The sources in the article are: 1. Geneall.net, a clearly unreliable UGS. 2. Who's Who, which I can't access but I strongly doubt provides in-depth coverage of him (not his ancestry) given it was first added when he was 8 years old. EDIT: Actually this ref is ineligible for notability consideration since entries are authored by the subject. 3. A gross Tatler list of 5 "hot single marquesses" that discusses how "shaggable" they are (Charles was 15 when this was published!) and provides extremely minimal encyclopedic info on him. 4. An article in Express, which is an unreliable source and thus doesn't count. 5. A Vanity Fair article on his sisters where he is mentioned in passing. 6. Another Express article. 7. An article in The Times written by his mother, so not independent and therefore ineligible. 8. An article in Tatler on his father where he is mentioned in passing. No one has presented other sources that claim SIGCOV so based on what is here this is a very clear delete. JoelleJay (talk) 19:20, 3 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep- there are relatively few marquesses in the UK, and this guy will be a duke, which is even less common. Bearian (talk) 00:56, 8 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete. Articles on people in this position undoubtedly would have been wholly encyclopaedic before the two World Wars, but I don't think they are today in most cases. RobinCarmody (talk) 17:53, 14 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete or redirect to the article on his father or the dukedom. Don't see evidence the subject meets the general notability guideline. Having a Who's Who entry arguably meets WP:ANYBIO point 3, but that just indicates the subject is likely to be notable rather than a guarantee that they are. I wouldn't be surprised if Who's Who has an entry on everyone with an aristocratic title and as noted above the entry itself can't be significant coverage if it was written when he was 8. The other sources are about his parents and mention him in passing, apart from "Single and hot marquesses" ("still only 15... Give him two or three years"), which isn't a great source for a BLP.
