This athlete played a couple non-notable years; there is nothing notable about this player. Further, this article has original research and leans to POV. Keep - An article that can be improved should never be deleted. As shown by the large number of news stories (here, here, and the Google News search), he undoubtly passes WP:ATHLETE although the idiocy about the man's next-door neighbor certainly needs to be removed.
