The result was Keep. The policy arguments are clear and the cited sources clearly establish notability. Another case where WP:BEFORE might have saved everyone trouble. DES (talk) 00:52, 25 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

- Strong Keep. I have sourced the article now with RS. Winner of the Annie Award. El País the "most widely circulated newspaper in spain" has done a feature story on him. The New york Times profile describes him as Virtually unknown to the public, Mr. Grangel, 41, is a highly respected artist among animation professionals and the edit9 article as one of the animation world's leading creatives. His work in The Road to El Dorado, Madagascar, Shark Tale and Corpse Bride easily satisfies #3 for WP:ARTIST. A text book case for what happens when nominator doesnt do WP:BEFORE!!--Sodabottle (talk) 22:32, 19 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- Keep per meeting WP:ANYBIO for awards and nominations, unless the nominator in his WP:BEFORE is somehow suggesting that the Annie Awards are non-notable. Kudos to User:Sodabottle, and a Trout to Alan. Schmidt, MICHAEL Q. 01:10, 22 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
