Brian Rix has not received significant, ongoing coverage in reliable secondary sources. There are two (2) short news articles in Australian media [1][2] which contain no original reporting, and merely paraphrase the contents of a press release announcing the sale of Rix's book. Essentially WP:ROUTINE coverage of the works of local authors.

Much like climbing Mt. Everest, a long motorcycle ride in the 1920s or 1930s was a much more significant achievement than today. See List of long-distance motorcycle riders.
