Non-notable radio personality, no references outside of company and myspace, very few informative google hits, fails WP:BIO. ṜέđṃάяķvюĨїήīṣŢ Drop me a lineReview Me! 18:17, 23 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

- Strong Keep as subject has been the focus of significant coverage in reliable secondary sources (some of which I have added to the article, others of which I have added to the talk page for some other enterprising editor to use to further expand this article, has been recognized for his work in a major US radio market, and clearly meets both the notability and verifiability threshold. Article needs expansion but the sources are out there (and now listed and linked) to begin that process. - Dravecky (talk) 04:53, 24 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
- Delete, no indication of sufficient notability, looks like just another DJ. No awards, no syndication, nothing to indicate that this DJ is known outside the local market. Google news brings up a number of hits but most are brief mentions of moving from station to station, nothing where Oake is the subject of the article.--Rtphokie (talk) 11:47, 24 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
- Reply: I've already combed through GoogleNews and found several articles where Oake is the subject and is even named in the headline from various reliable secondary sources, he was as the article claims named "Best FM Radio Personality" in '98 for the Twin Cities, and other on-point sources are listed in the talk page for future article expansion. - Dravecky (talk) 13:05, 24 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
- Reply-None of the sources stated there are notable. They are all newspaper articles. If you can find anything other than newspaper articles and MySpace pages, I will put my vote to Keep. Until you can find an notable source, my vote stays at Delete. ṜέđṃάяķvюĨїήīṣŢ Drop me a lineReview Me! 13:53, 28 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
- Keep There is enough coverage in reliable sources to establish notability per WP:BIO. Davewild (talk) 21:53, 29 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
- Actually, there is little coverage and no reliable sources outside of local newspapers. In most of the references, his name is only mentioned once or twice along with many other radio hosts. ṜέđṃάяķvюĨїήīṣŢ Drop me a lineReview Me! 11:59, 1 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
- Keep - wealth of sources point to notability. Newspaper articles do count as sources --T-rex 16:22, 1 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
