- Comment: Are major network telenovelas in a large country not typically notable? Obviously if this was an American show, we'd never question its notability. I see lots of references to it in more recent news articles (the actual show not just the phrase), unfortunately I didn't stumble on brazilian newspaper archives from 1990-91.
