The result was Delete - notability is not inherited and the article does not meet WP:RS and WP:BIO requirements. Pastor Theo (talk) 00:48, 5 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Billy Mays III (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views) (delete) – (View log)
Billy Mays III has received no coverage in reliable sources other than brief mentions as a relative of his late father and a possible role behind the scenes in his father's TV show, PitchMen. He fails WP:BIO. Timmeh 14:11, 29 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Delete per WP:INHERIT. Jujutacular talkcontribs 14:19, 29 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Redirect to Billy Mays#Personal life, fails WP:BIO. No prej. to recreation if he takes over on the show. youngamerican (wtf?) 14:23, 29 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

- How will the second season of PitchMen make this person any more notable? Timmeh 15:23, 29 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Delete: Notability is not inherited. Joe Chill (talk) 15:55, 29 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Delete No evidence has been provided he satisfies [[WP:BIO]. Notability is not inherited. He should be mentioned in the article on his father. Edison (talk) 16:01, 29 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Redirect to Billy Mays#Personal life as a plausible search term. There doesn't seem to be enough notability to justify a stand-alone article. If an when there is, the article can be recreated. — LinguistAtLarge • Talk 16:04, 29 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Delete Per Joe Chill Curtis (talk) 17:02, 29 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Redirecting is preferable to deletion since it's a plausible search term. I haven't looked into the question of a dedicated article. Olaf Davis (talk) 20:18, 29 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Delete. Notability isn't inherited. Future possible roles don't cut it. Niteshift36 (talk) 05:41, 30 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Delete - I'm a fan of the late Billy Mays and his TV show, but I say delete it. I don't even recommend a redirect because I don't think "Billy Mays III" is a plausible search term (I would just look up "Billy Mays" if I was trying to find him). Since this Billy is supposed to be part of the next season of Pitchmen, he might become more notable later, in which case there's justification in recreating the article. -- Atamachat 19:29, 31 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

- Keep Billy Mays III is in PitchMen, unlike you guys! You guys never went on TV before. He's half as popular as Billy Mays, and that's a lot because the Billy Mays that's resting in peace was very popular. I hear of Billy Mays III a lot. Jeremjay24 (talk) 14:19, 3 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Notability is not inherited, and Billy Mays III is not playing a lead role in PitchMen but is just helping develop the format for the second season. Timmeh 15:24, 3 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
