I don't see any indication of notability here. He doesn't seem to have held any position that establishes automatic notability (like national level judgeship); similarly, he doesn't meet WP:PROF. There's 1 source, it verifies only his final position, and I'm not even sure it's reliable. While book/web searches produce hits, they don't seem to refer to this person (instead, to a priest, an astrologer, and people with only partial name matches). Without a better demonstration of notability, this should be deleted. Qwyrxian (talk) 22:15, 10 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

- Delete - Subject appears to lack notability per Wikipedia on all counts. He was never a real academic professor at any university. Many instructors at the cited academy are given the title for their stint there and such posts are generally advertised e.g. http://www.indiastudychannel.com/jobs/269461-Professor-Economics-job-vacancy-at-LBSNAA-Mussoorie-through-UPSC.aspx Being an established professor is something different. Fails WP:PROF. As a provincial judge, he was just doing his day job like his peers. He never became a Supreme Court judge. Educator is neither here nor there, as all teachers, tutors and trainers at well known institutions in India e.g. Doon School and St. Stephen's College have taught or trained hundreds of students who have gone on to become outstanding achievers in their chosen professions, at home and abroad. The educators generally remain anonymous. They, like the subject, were and are just doing their job. Notability is another matter and I have found no sources which indicate that this person passes WP:GNG.Zananiri (talk) 21:14, 13 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
- Delete. I don't see the evidence of passing WP:ACADEMIC or WP:POLITICIAN (the best fit to a notability criterion for judges). And the claims of mentoring other famous people smell of WP:INHERITED. —David Eppstein (talk) 02:55, 15 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
