Notability is not inherited, and there's nothing here other than his birthplace that isn't already in his father's article. Clarityfiend (talk) 23:45, 18 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
- Keep Although I understand Clarityfiend's point, there has always been great interest in the children of U.S. presidents, and we now have at least 89 articles about them, including Patrick Bouvier Kennedy who died at 2 days of age. I think the unique circumstances of Pierce's death justify an article. Cullen328 (talk) 23:58, 18 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

- Delete Being the child of the POTUS does not ensure notability. Patrick Bouvier Kennedy is a different case than Benjamin Pierce. – Muboshgu (talk) 02:05, 19 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
- Delete. While his death is notable, there is no information on the article that isn't in the article on his father. I don't therefore see what the article contributes to the project really Pi (Talk to me! ) 02:55, 19 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
- Redirect to Franklin Pierce#Family. Clear case of WP:BIO1E with easy main article to find. At least the death of Patrick Bouvier Kennedy had some sort of lasting impact with regards to Infant respiratory distress syndrome. Here there's nothing to justify a separate article.--70.80.234.196 (talk) 03:24, 19 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
