This seems like a textbook violation of WP:BLP1E (the policy against articles about people known only for one event). Yes, there was news coverage, but it was not biographical in nature. I also have NPOV concerns about the article, which has the feel of being created for political reasons. Chick Bowen 00:15, 30 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

- Comment. I'll have to think about this one for a bit longer. There does appear to have been coverage in national sources from 2003 to 2012. Not yet sure if this somehow needs to be reconciled with WP:EVENT. Location (talk) 14:59, 31 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
- There isn't really. There's coverage of the initial crime in 2003, and when he is released from prison in 2011 there's coverage of the failed attempt to deport him, but the latter focuses on the victim's father and the process, not really on Ibrahim. As I said initially, there's no biographical coverage, only coverage of the crime and its aftermath. Chick Bowen 18:18, 31 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
- Delete -- I have a faint recollection of this as a notorious case, but I we need this article. Peterkingiron (talk) 17:17, 1 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
