Applied Micro Circuits Corporation[edit]
This company is not prominent enough to have an article. WP:NOT Masterpjz9 03:38, 6 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Delete seems not like Wikipedia material; some sounds like advertising OTAKU 03:55, 6 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
- Keep, I think it meets WP:CORP. It was just recently removed from the S&P 500 index[1] and still gets mentioned in major publications like Forbes[2] and Investor's Business Daily[3]. The company doesn't seem to be doing terribly well but I think it's still notable. It does read like an ad, though, and I will tag as such. -Big Smooth 15:18, 6 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
- Keep per Big Smooth. A company (recently) on the S&P 500 is notable. I definitely agree tht it needs to lose the press release tone, but it's a company readers might reasonably want information on. LotLE×talk 17:06, 6 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
- Keep It's a notable company, but reads too much like an ad. —Mets501talk 18:01, 6 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
