- I think he's notable, from what I've found on Wikidata, where I've just added the English stub article: https://www.wikidata.org/wiki/Q437450 . I see he was a member of the Royal Academy of Dutch language and literature and the nl:Prijs voor Letterkunde van de Vlaamse Provincies would seem to be a notable high-level national award for Flemish Belgium. - Keep. There appears to be plenty of sourcing including a 48-page biography [1], an entry in the Nederlandse Poëzie Encyclopedie [2], and a festschrift [3]. As well as being a notable author, he was founder of a notable organization, the Komitee voor Frans-Vlaanderen . —David Eppstein (talk) 16:37, 30 July 2017 (UTC)
