I can't find any reliable sources that show notability. Fails WP:NF. Schuym1 (talk) 20:13, 3 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Delete In general History Channel fills up its day with these kind of programs. Not notable. Also the title is misleading. I was expecting it to be about the ancient sports themselves. Steve Dufour (talk) 20:46, 3 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Delete Somehow, this escaped nomination several months ago. No, you won't learn anything about sports played in ancient China. All you'll learn is that there was a TV show called... well, here's what the article says: "'Ancient Chinese Sports' was a documentary aired on The History Channel on 18 May 2008. The story tells about the evolution of Chinese Sports. It was also aired in conjunction of the 2008 Summer Olympics." Hooray, an article about a TV show that you didn't watch then and won't be able to watch now. Mandsford (talk) 02:01, 4 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

- Perhaps he or she agrees with you. The redirect !vote probably won't count, unless the person logs in. In looking at Sport in China, I don't see that it discusses ancient Chinese sports (other than a section about "traditional sports" which aren't necessarily ancient), so it probably won't be a good redirect. Personally, I'd love to see a real article about ancient Chinese sports. There are plenty of sources [1][2] if someone wanted to write one, but I don't care to.
