The result was soft delete. Based on minimal participation, this uncontroversial nomination is treated as an expired PROD (a.k.a. "soft deletion"). Editors can request the article's undeletion. Liz Read! Talk! 23:36, 11 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Multiple issues with WP:V and WP:GNG. Same case as Ahmed Abdullahi Aliyu Abdurrahim Sumaila. In searches, I can only find Wikipedia mirrors. Sources cited seem to either not mention the subject or are completely fictitious themselves. Spiderone(Talk to Spider) 21:40, 4 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete After researching some of the sources, I am also convinced there is some kind of deliberate fraud here. This may be related to modern day politicians in Nigeria whose electoral chances would be affected by claims of noble ancestry. I'll happily change my view if someone can bring a single source verifying some of the claims. At minimum, however, there would have to be a massive cleanup of all the sources that are either fabricated or do not contain mention of the subject, to the extent that WP:TNT might be a better approach even if the notability of the clan can be proven.
