His 2 professional games a decade ago are, at best, a very weak presumption of notability. None of the sources in the article demonstrate the level of coverage for WP:GNG and Google News and DDG failed to yield any significant coverage of this footballer. Keep - It seems that Dimov has had a substantial managerial career too. [1] talks about his coaching activities and [2] talks about him running a tournament. Searching for "АЛЕКСАНДЪР ДИМОВ" ФУТБОЛНАТА (Aleksandar Dimov football) gives many other results too. EternalNomad (talk) 05:06, 29 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

He has quite a common name, what gives us the impression that this Aleksandar Dimov is the same person? In fact, given this translation of one of the articles written in 2013, I don't think that they are the same. The second sentence translates (according to Google) as "This was stated for Radio Shumen by the coach Alexander Dimov, who a few years ago returned the local team to the "B" football group." It seems unlikely, given that the Dimov subject to this AfD would have been 27 at the time that this article was written, that this article is referring to the same person here. Soccerway and Football Database both verify that he had a playing career (and was not on the books of Shumen), albeit a low level one, in the years leading up to that 2013 article being written so it seems unlikely, but not impossible, that the two Dimovs are the same person. We as editors must be careful about WP:FRANKENSTEIN so unless a source explicitly states that this semi-pro goalkeeper and this Shumen-based coach are the same person, we should presume that they are not.
