  • Keep I was able to locate a number of references which can be used to cite the article's content. Most of these articles are in Spanish, but there are there, and I even added one. It's clear this a real breed with notability. PhobosIkaros 15:01, 6 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep: The breed is well known enough to have been prohibited in two separate German states (Bavaria & Brandenburg), and has been prohibited from public housing in New York since 2009. A google search for the term "Alano Español" brings up over half a million results; over 100,000 if you include the quotation marks. An English translation [1] of the Spanish Wikipedia page "Royal Canine Society of Spain" [2] shows the Alano is very much recognized. Checking their website, they include ASOCIACIÓN NACIONAL DE CRIADORES DE ALANO ESPAÑOL as one of their collaborating clubs, and THEY have their own website [3]. Definitely a notable breed, well-known in its home country of Spain, regardless of whether or not is has gained recognition as a breed by the kennel clubs of English speaking countries. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Normal Op (talkcontribs) 23:18, 6 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep The nomination talks vaguely of "issues" without explaining what they are. The article has existed for 14 years and has no cleanup tags or relevant discussion on its talk page. Sources seem easy to find. Not seeing the problem. Andrew D. (talk) 08:47, 7 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep As above: sources clearly exist. Bondegezou (talk) 10:12, 7 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep: dog breed is notable. Aquatastetalk 11:09, 7 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep: - This dog breed has articles on 23 language versions of Wikipedia, they can't all be wrong! Cwmhiraeth (talk) 17:14, 7 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
