  • Delete, as failing WP:V. Every single ref given in the article is a dead link, and these references are only given as footnotes for the last two sentences in the article, dealing with his visiting positions and his 26 publications. Nothing in GoogleScholar, and almost nothing even for a plain google search[1]. For the latter, only 376 results, and almost all of those are to Wikipedia mirrors. • Nsk92, it seems the subject is better known as "A Jayagovind". I searched this and found some relevant results. --Lemongirl942 (talk) 18:11, 27 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete references do not add to pasing GNG, and his postions and background do not add to passing any notability criteria for academics.John Pack Lambert (talk) 16:05, 17 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • Weak keep. As former vice chancellor of NLSIU [2] (that is, its actual head, not its ceremonial head) he may pass WP:PROF#C6. —David Eppstein (talk) 04:02, 20 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • keep a vice chancellor is in effect the CEO of the university and meets WP:PROF. LibStar (talk) 01:03, 21 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

  • Weak keep per WP:PROF#C6 as the subject was the academic head of an university (seems to be a government university). There are some secondary sources available for verification, on searching for "A Jayagovind" such as [3], [4], [5], [6]. These are not the best sources (they seem to be replying on press releases or are quotes by the subject), but can be used for verifiability. --Lemongirl942 (talk) 18:08, 27 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
