Not a sufficiently notable person for a bio. Some incidental notability comes via Ian Gawler and the cancer-related controversies there, but none of substance to Meares that I can find - hence the current article contains unsourced, off-topic & coatracked content. • I withdraw the deletion nomination. Actually, searching further, it seems there *are* some reasonable sourced for Meares[1] - it just means our current article needs to be re-written! Alexbrn ^{talk|contribs|COI} 06:00, 22 February 2015 (UTC)
  • Was just about to mention that very source. There are some formatting errors but I see a myriad of books, publications and other works that have been cited on a number of occasions, according to Google Scholar. Strongly oppose: Ainslee Meares was a highly prominent Australian psychiatrist and author over a long period of time. There is absolutely no merit in considering this article for deletion. Afterwriting (talk) 09:21, 22 February 2015 (UTC)
