The result was keep. WP:SNOW; nominator also blocked, which further puts the legitimacy of the nomination into question. (non-admin closure) Kirbanzo (userpage - talk - contribs) 19:36, 25 August 2019 (UTC)

Non-notable awards (Harold Larnder prize), no depth-of-coverage requirement doesn't seem to be sufficient for WP:BIO. No significant work what so ever. Riazul Islam BD (talk) 13:37, 25 August 2019 (UTC)— Riazul Islam BD (talk • contribs) has made few or no other edits outside this topic.

- Snow Keep this person very clearly meets WP:GNG and WP:NPROF notably
#5#1finger slipped on phone screen. Dom from Paris (talk) 17:19, 25 August 2019 (UTC) as having co proposed with Alison Doig the Branch and bound as a method to solve the Travelling salesman problem. I have a strange inkling that this nomination might be in retaliation for 3 nominations I made for 3 Bangladeshi companies that were deleted. This editor has also nominated an article written by User:Epinoia here Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Ditch, (magazine) who also !voted to delete these 3 articles. The editor who created these 3 articles has just !voted delete and previously opened a SPI against me and another editor who !voted delete and was thrown out. I shall have to take this to ANI. - Keep. The pioneering paper "An Automatic Method for Solving Discrete Programming Problems" by Land and Alison Doig is republished in the celebration "50 years of integer programming". Land is not just notable but famous for this work; the paper has been cited over 3000 times. Chiswick Chap (talk) 15:18, 25 August 2019 (UTC)
- Keep. Few contributions, but highly significant ones, enough for WP:PROF#C1 and #C7. Nominator has been blocked as a sockpuppet so this AfD could have a speedy close. —David Eppstein (talk) 16:33, 25 August 2019 (UTC)
- Keep WP:PROF#C1. and WP:ANYBIO The person has made a widely recognized contribution that is part of the enduring historical record in his or her specific field. --Wm335td (talk) 19:28, 25 August 2019 (UTC)
