The result was Keep This usually would be closed as no consensus or relisted, but, even though the vote's split 2 v 2, Mussav provided a source that he indeed did play in a pro league. The only delete !votes are saying that he's never played in a pro league, but the source clearly says that he did. Therefore, he meets WP:ATHLETE. Feel free to expand the article, though; it needs it! Cheers, I'mperator 19:11, 21 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Doesn't play in a league that's fully professional therefore failing WP:ATHLETE Spiderone (talk) 15:55, 14 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Delete - no evidence he has played in a fully-pro league, so fails WP:ATHLETE. Also fails WP:GNG. GiantSnowman 16:22, 14 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Keep - Mussav has provided a source which shows this player played in a top-level, continent-wide professional comp - enough for me. GiantSnowman 09:05, 18 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Keep - just because he is not playing in a fully-pro league that doesn't mean we should delete all the players because of that. Mussav (talk) 17:44, 14 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Well according to WP:ATHLETE, it does...GiantSnowman 17:49, 14 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Actually it doesn't. ATHLETE says we should probably keep a player that plays in a FPL, not that we should delete those that don't. Of course, if they fail ATHLETE they need to pass other notability criteria, which this guy doesn't seem to.--ClubOranjeT 08:57, 16 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Then this rule needs to be changed because honestly this isn'r fair at all. Mussav (talk) 18:14, 14 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- That may well be the case, but as it currently stands, this player fails WP:ATHLETE. GiantSnowman 18:15, 14 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- I thought I gave a source of Karzan being played in the Champions league but I think it was just my imagination, any way another source. Krazan Played in the Champions League with Arbil, this is Al-Sabah newspapers (Iraqi newspapers) and I used google translator, read the 7th paragraph, Arbil squad for the Champions Legate and Karzan was one of Arbil's players in that year. Mussav (talk) 16:16, 15 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Being in the squad isn't enough - we need a source to say he has actually played a game. GiantSnowman 16:22, 15 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

- Hey Mussav, you are not that new to wikipedia so you know the guidelines. Instead of being pissed at the standards find some sources that show the player is noteworthy enough. I personally think it spits in the face of common sense that certain internet based porn girls are not allotted any space here but have to deal with it. Read WP:BIO very carefully and start googleing to find a good amount of coverage that meets WP:RELIABLE. If there is signifigant coverage out there it will make a better article that makes everyone happy and improves this project.Cptnono (talk) 10:42, 16 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- The problem is, his true name is Ahmad Mohammed while Karzan is just a nickname. try to type Ahmad Mohammed in google search engine and you will see millions of unrealted hits.Another problem, The AFC website is renewed and the newest version does not provide us about the previous tournaments details. Mussav (talk) 16:05, 16 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Start doing the leg work then. Two other editors obviously disagrees so prove notability if you want to close the deletion discussion. I poked around and came up with nothing on the nick name. Is there signifigant coverage in the google hits or do you have other sources available?Cptnono (talk) 04:12, 17 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

- Delete never played in a fully professional level, therefore he is a non-notable subject. Really nothing else to say. --Angelo (talk) 07:35, 17 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Delete Not yet notable. --Dweller (talk) 15:51, 17 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
