Article is unreferenced and is about an athlete who has not played in a fully-pro league. Prod was removed by editor claiming that he has played for professional clubs (Cartagena and Hercules), but he played for them in the Segunda B which is a regionalized and not fully-pro league. Article fails general notability guideline as well. Jogurney (talk) 15:28, 27 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Withdraw - I've added the sources that User:Herculano pointed out in the Spanish Wikipedia article on the same person and believe the article now passes the general notability guideline. Jogurney (talk) 23:24, 28 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

- NOT delete. You say that is not professional, one notices that do not know the Spanish Segunda B, professional category. Addison last year was scoring goals at Tottenham. If you delete this article, should be eliminated thousands of items from players, who even have less information than this. In addition, the player holding the Wikipedia articles in Spanish, Catalan and Portuguese. I do not understand this persecution with this player. --Herculano (talk) 21:50, 28 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Comment - I made the nomination because the article doesn't satify WP:ATHLETE (which is correct - friendly matches against Spurs do not satisfy the fully-pro league requirement), but I would like to withdraw the nomination because the article in the Spanish Wikipedia appears to have sufficient sources to pass WP:GNG. I apologize for not checking that article first and will add the references to the English Wikipedia article shortly. Jogurney (talk) 22:52, 28 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Unfortunately you can't withdraw while there are unstruck delete !votes..... -- ChrisTheDude (talk) 07:04, 29 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

- Delete sources are trivial and do not cover the subject in detail (I am excluding the first provided source, since it is definitely not an independent one - football club paper), but only cover his several moves and transfers here and there, plus some marginal coverage from interviews to his football managers, so to me he still fails WP:GNG. And WP:ATHLETE too. --Angelo (talk) 11:01, 1 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
