Okay, so I probably could've prodded this one. But I am completely baffled as to what is going on here. GNIS entry is sourced to a NOAA chart, and the coordinates point to what USGS topographic maps show as an uninhabited swamp along the Rappahannock. Newspapers.com brings up nothing, Google books brings up nothing relevant, and Google search only brings up the standard wikipedia mirrors and GNIS-spawn. So I tracked down the NOAA chart this comes from, which shows two buildings on the other side of the river of where the GNIS coordinates point to. Going back to the topos, this spot is labeled as "grave" or "cemetery" on topographic maps. With the nature of this "place" unverifiable and WP:GNG not being even close to met, I don't see a way this article can be kept. Hog Farm _Talk 05:41, 23 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy delete We need a systematic approach to Virginia articles, since it's clear that the mass-production from the WP:GNIS, as in California, has introduced a significant amount of non-notable, if not unverifiable, if not outright false content. Reywas92 I'd say that PROD is probably fine, except for the corners, which can't be prodded and should probably be bundled by county. I've PRODded about 40ish VA places this month, with no issues. Hog Farm _Talk 14:34, 23 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Adjust just one digit to 38°12′24″N 77°14′39″W / 38.20667°N 77.24417°W / 38.20667; -77.24417 and the map reference is bang-on. The GNIS coördinates are a typo. Uncle G (talk) 20:00, 25 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
delete I haven't been able to look at the old chart, but as a rule GNIS entries taken from nautical charts have been spurious. There's no sign of a settlement here. Mangoe (talk) 21:54, 28 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
